the Evo have been tested to be slightly faster but again, driver's make the deciding factor between the closely matched cars. The Evo MR on the other hand def. has an advantage with weight reduction and pure performance, no frills.

But to me the STi looks better, is an all around better car and is built to last. I have also heard the rumor that Mitsu is kinda heading out the door at least in the states. Word has it that 3 of their current models here will be deleted in the next few years. And since they are now owned by Daimler, Daimler has decided not to give them another couple billion in aid so they are basically on their own.

Amen to that, the STi is sooo much sexier! Good riddance to Mitsub-tchy!

Not too shabby! I've just taken a major disliking towards them since an ex-slut/friend/pleasurer ditched me for some guy who made slightly better money, was (probably still is) one of the biggest posers around, and thought his beat down 96 Eclipse RS was "pimp" because it had the following...

Direct quote from an email addressed to him...
satyllac wrote:
Your car is one of the most laughably vandalized and poorly manufactured pieces of poopy ever created. And yet, you think it's a show-car. Dirty used wheels purchased off eBay, rust spots, a cigarette-burnt velvet headliner, spray-painted interior, un-tuned poopy stereo system, huge wing with a half-assed paintjob, mis-positioned "Fast & The Furious" graphics, eBay intake, plasti-chrome tail-lights, cut springs, and a fart-cannon muffler do NOT, I repeat: DO NOT make a show-worthy automobile. Not only is it uglier than sin, I've seen more powerful Geo Metro's.

Not only that, but he ended up replacing the transmission within a few weeks of buying it, then after a month or two the engine was replaced. The last I heard, the engine once again needed replacing. On top of that, his friend (95 Talon ESi) had his 5 speed transmission literally blow apart. I was told he backtracked down the road and picked up parts from the internals, gears and such... I'm not sure how valid those statements are, but I do know his car was in the shop for a few days for repairs.

If anyone is interested in reading the rest of my textual bashing of said Eclipse owner, feel free to ask, I'll hook you up with a copy.
Funny stuff.

That wasn't even half of the email rant I sent him... It only got worse.
