| crash: how do you like the turtle beach santa cruz? i need a new sound card because i'm running the old turtle beach montego 2 in xp and there are no xp drivers for it so i'm running the win9x drivers in xp. and because of the funky combo, the sound cuts out in games and the only way to get sound back is to restart my comp. |

| I got a nice little Winfast sound card for about $40, primary reason I bought it was because it had Toslink and Coax digital ins and outs, 5.1 dolby, and a 120db signal noise ratio; very, very good things for my minidisc recordings. Excellent sound quality as well, and no static and little to no background noise at full blast. |

| I just run an old SB Live 5.1 with Inspir 5.1's and if it gets bad can always hook it up to the stereo the pump the sound thru my pair of DynaLab's.
