speaking of computer sound systems....I have the Santa Cruz sound card with Harmon and Kardon speakers+sub.
I was playing Roller Coaster Tycoon and I had the bumper cars in my park well I kept hearing this base that sounded like a car off in the distance. For 30 minutes I kept getting up to look down my driveway to see if it was my brother coming back the road..... Nope it wasn't him so I scratched my head a little trying to figure out where it came from, but to no avail. Anyways a couple hours later I'm going through the options on Roller Coaster Tycoon and I happen to click on "no music". Went back and started playing again and realized I turned off the sound to all my rides but not the voices. So i went back in and re-clicked it and what do you know, the base started up again. Needless to say I realized it was the bumper cars when i changed it's music to soemthing different. Well after all that i sort of felt dumb. a couple days later my brother is playing the game on my computer for awhile and for a couple minutes he's like what is that? and WHO is that? I walked in the room and he's like hey is someone coming back? I'm like HAHA you hear it too? I had to explain it to him. so I didn't feel so bad after that.
