Default Not just a car, it's a piggy bank!

Some of you already know that I've been forced to stay away from work and any kind of physical stress following a recent health issue. It sucks a lot. I've been bored out of my mind so I've spent the past few days trying to find ways to entertain myself.

Yesterday I came to the brilliant conclusion that modifying my shifter and lubing the cables would be pretty stress-free entertainment. However, I was not prepared for it to be a profitable adventure. It seems that a previous owner regularly used the ashtray as a change holder even though it has a tendency to fall down inside of the console if you so much as look at it funny. Under the edges of the carpet beneath the console I found a little over forty dollars in change! Apparently my car is also a piggy bank. LOL. How can anyone loose so much change in a car?

As far as the shifter goes... I have to say that it was fun and best of all, time consuming. I'm definitely digging the shorter throws between gears. Why didn't I do this a long time ago?

Doesn't feel any faster, but the odd jingling that it used to have while driving over bumps isn't there anymore. LOL.

Mine had about 50 toothpicks in plastic overings under the ashtray when I got it. Asswipes. I cleaned those out after I got the car, the next day it got cleaned top to bottom and fully detailed.
