The reason the shifter is so small is cause there are paddle shifters behind the steering wheel.
Maybe some other cars should adopt that short shifter style.
One teenie weenie problem, though.

it's sweet. hmm.. i thought the car had the option for either? push the auto button and it's auto or use the paddles? doesn't matter either way it's great deasign and engineering.

Oh it does, sorry for the confussion.
My point was that it wasn't a true manual.
But also, with a car that goes over 200mph, you kinda need to keep your hands on the wheel.
I'm just not too keen on sports cars that aren't true manuals.
