| You can make some of the people happy all the time or you can make all the people happy for a little bit of time.
Everyone that I know of that drive saturns around here if they are looking for something I say "go to Joey, he will have it." Which it looks like it will be dropping a 6th planet motor in an SW2 really soon for a friend of mine. The thing is that I don't worry if the motor is going to run or not, because I know it will.

| Let me ask you this Joe out of curiousity. Is it possible for you guys to build up a pre 95 SOHC engine to have boost and put out in the neighborhood of 150-180HP reliably so that the car can be driven daily but taken to shows and strutted around when needed. If that is possible, then I will most likely make my next car a pre 95 just cause I know more about them than any other Saturn. |

| Let me go out on a limb here and comment on this post.
Although Joe and I have had some differences in the past, I respect him for his knowledge. Just because he and I had some arguments isn't reason enough for me to hate the man. Disagree sometimes, sure, but not to attempt to destroy his business as others have tried to do.
Joe has a lot of knowledge to share with people. That is the bottom line. Like he admits, he can be rough around the edges at times, but he gets his point across.
I have recommended Joe to others in the past, and will continue to do so in the future. Why? Joe knows how to treat a customer and will work to make things right when he is wrong. I have seen it first hand. I have also seen customers who are wrong, try to place the blame on Joe. It happens. Although the customer is supposed to always be right, sometimes in business...this just isn't the case. |

| In my restaurant, the custome is never right, well they think they are, but that is just them, lol. When I went to Joe for my first radiator, he gave me a good deal on a low mileage one. When we found out it wasnt just the radiator, he gladly sold me another one for even cheaper this time and havent had an issue since.

You'd be better off converting to the MPFI setup found on later models for this. Your best bet would be a full conversion to a twin cam. The MPFI setup is pretty easy, and I'm sure Joe could walk you through it.
Getting that much power reliably out of our little TBI engines would be possible, but you'd pay long term.

| brandon, damn forgot to tell you, thats your buds engine going to bama right?
did you know, without even contacting me, you better tell yuor friend he got the serious hook up, he opted for one of the econo engines, a 550.00 engine, what he got was a mint 98 sc 70k twin cam 750.00 upgraded engine.
now, the ONLY thing that needs to be modded is the fan when going to a later model motor, i sent a note personally in the envelope.
now, to save me some time cause times a real luxury i aint got lately, please, if you have any questions talk to jimmy at monkey, reason being is me and him were discussing the three options on fan powering up when using a newer motor and he can describe as well as i can how to and what options you have to run the fan but hey, infigured, half hour more work for the frikkin fan but to get a upgraded 98 engine would be a hoot and your bud would be happy you sent him here, so dont be looking for a package with some ragged ass 95 140k hack yard special, your boys been upgraded, my way of saying thanks for the business.
scott, that was nice of you. appreciated. (dickhead...<grin>)
