heres how i became known as joeybagodonuts....
when i was younger i didnt have a license, not for dui or anything, i dont condone that, but when i was young insurance in NJ was crazy, like 3k a year, back then i had just had crystal, was supporting a family and sad to say it was feed my family or pay insurace, so like many others i got caught, crucified and lost my license, jersey laws are VERY strict, no insurance is almost as bad as dui, you lose you license first shot.
so anyway one would think with no license you'd only drive for REALLY important things right? (oh, ive always been knowm to have a serious sweet tooth, my "family" neighborhood nickname was joey-sweet-tooth for years also) one night i got popped driving without a license, so i called my lifelong friend ricky dunston to come bail me out of ocean county jail...
so he comes, gets me out, when signing me out he was like, "so what were you doing joe"? what was so important that you were out at 2 am? party or something? i was like, hell no ricky, i had the urge for dunkin donuts man, i only went out to get a half dozen, he cracked up, but as he was signing me out they hold your personal stuff in a envelope then when you get released they give you your wallet, gold whatever it was you had when you came in, WLL MY DONUTS WERENT THERE ! i went f-ing ballistic! i was hollering, *****in, hey, where the ****s my bag of donuts?! the cops started getting irate, i kept it up, i was like **** this, i paid for them, i got arrested for them, where is my bag of donuts? (ricky meantimes laughing his ass off that i had the ballls to be hollering at cops as i was getting released...) i started with, maybe if you guys laid off the jelly and glazed donuts youd be out catching REAL criminals, what you couldnt afford your own?! eventually, i was just fed up, pissed, and didnt have my bag o donuts~! as we got in the car ricky says, joey, ****ing joey bag-o-donuts.... only you could get arrested over a half dozen donuts.....
ever since then it stuck, and forver more id be known as joeybagadonuts....

damn joey that is funny as hell...btw insurance still sucks in jersey. i have a fairly new company called liberty mutual and for the highest coverage i could get in liability which was 100/50/100 and just that i pay about a 1000 a year. when i was firsdt getting my liscense my dad asked prudential about getting insurance for me thru his policy....3000/yr....what a buncha BS....glad i got my own policy at another company
