I saw it over there also. Now I just have to figure out how to get a small block chevy in mine.

Damn! I knew it could be done! V8 conversion!

BTW, that's not a smallblock Chev engine. That's a Cadillac 500ci monster mill!

I don't know who did that, but he's got my respect.

Trust me. It's a Cadillac. Ford engines don't look like that.

On Ford engines, the distributor is vertical. On Cadillacs, it's tilted like that one is.

And now, the Ford engine....

See?

I've built a few of both of those lumps.

I knew that was no sb chevy. I've built my fair share of those. When I first saw it in the other thread I thought it was a Ford also. Just didn't pay enough attention to the dist.

I just think a nice little sb would suit me better. Keep a little weight off the front end so it still has a little handling and build me a nice little 400 hp sb in a light car like this and it would be fun to play around with.

It looks like he actually mounted his engine for proper weight transfer. I figure if he really wanted to, he could've mounted it lower in the chassis than that.

It's a killer install, and I can pretty much guarantee that it'd beat pretty much any other Saturn out there, including anything turbocharged, blown, or gassed.

Beautiful.

That's insane. But how do you make a FWD car RWD without the chassis twisting and snaping itself in half?
