Default painting....

Need some info on painting.

Pat did a great job on his interior, if you haven't seen it already, get him to send you a link.

I need to know,

should I sand or just wash the parts really well?
If sanding, what grits?
what brand, type of paint should i get and where should i get it?
How long between coats, how many coats?
How long to dry?
Should I clear it?
How many coats, how much time between coats?

any help is appreciated...

i told ya how i did it already.

BTW grits is only a food down south. grit (singular) is how you say it for sand paper....or roughness could be another word.

duplicolro truck/van/SUV paint takes about an hour or 2 to dry to the touch MAX. then apply another coat. apply as many as you like when the color appears dark enough for you. then clear coat it.

I think Pat would now be known as the "paint advice king", cause he gave me some advice too.
