Default The Patch

Alrighty, I'm trying to quit smoking. It's been interesting. I cut waaaaay down a couple of months back, and now I'm on the patch. One of the side effects of the patch is that you may have vivid dreams. Vivid?!? That doesn't begin to describe the sh*t I dreamt last night.

Weird thing though, I think I must be the most faithful husband on the friggin planet, because I had this dream where some chick was trying real hard to pick me up, and I flat out refused her.

Damnit! I can't have any fun. Stupid morality.

Jim

hey Jim, if the patch doesn't work....go to your doctor and ask about Anti-Depressant drugs. Something in the drug helps people to quit smoking.

i know a guy who used the patch to quit smoking and after the 6months of patch he ended up smoking twice as much......he went to the doctor and the doctor said about trying the anti-depressants and he's been smoke free for 2 years now. I think he was on the drug for like 6 months-1yr.

and a good thing about the drug is that you will be HAPPIER.

Yeah, I had my experience with Zyban (Wellbutrin) a couple of years ago. I had been taking it for two weeks, and I wasn't smoking at all. Then, out of the blue, I have this massive allergic reaction to it.

I broke out in a scabby head to toe rash, and it looked like there were white worms crawing around under my skin.

So, I got tense, and had a smoke...
