| Whelan:
If I were you, I'd get the Honda also! I love my Saturn, but you can't beat the reliability and resale value of a Honda. |

| lol at least its nice to know I can sell my parts.
The stereo will most likely be sold.
The strut bar comes off and if Ill check it if fits a 2nd gen.
The short shift can be sold as well. I still have my stock shifter so I can put it back on.
I might go to a salvage yard and find a stock intake airbox setup so I can take off my intake and sell it all put together to someone else with a first gen TBI SOHC.
The issue is if its a total I cant take these parts off cause the insurance agency needs to get a price for me.
Also I am also looking at the possiblity of a new/used Jetta 2000+ with the 1.8T cause a 4cyl is cheaper on insurance than a 6. And a 2001+ Civic EX coupe. Both would be 5 speeds and around 15-16k. I am gonna call the insurance place today to talk about the car. My rents dont think I can afford a new car right now but I have budgeted it out and it will be fine. They are trying to get this one fixed or get some other clunker to drive for a year. Which to me is pointless, why buy a car for only a year, thats a waste. So I am thinkin I will just do like a 60 month buyout finance on the car I buy and end up owning it, so if I feel like selling, those two cars have good resale. |

| Pricing: Buyers would pay shipping as well. (costs do not include shipping)
Intake $100 (all together direct bolt on for the TBI)
Strut Bar $30-50 (bought for $70 two months ago)
Wires $20 (bought for $40ish at SPS 3 months ago)
Short Shifter $50-60 (Cause I would put my stock one back in and not get the core charge back)
Stereo $400-500 total (if sold would come with two 6.5 Infinity Reference speakers, 10 Disc Changer, Xplod head unit) |

| All the insurance people keep talking about money back to fix it but at this point if it is fixable I am still not going to do the repairs, junk it and part it out. I take off some pieces and see if a yard will take it or a tax discount. |
