Default It's 4 AM...

I just got in from work (I took a newspaper delivery job to support the new mods I want for this car) it's friggin - 30 Celcius (which is like 2 farhenheit) and I have to be at the Saturn dealership 1 hour away from my home at 9:30 in the morning...That means I have to be up at 8:00... crappy!

Anyways my car is going in for the following:
1) Check clutch hydraulics - I felt like I had no power to my clutch over the weekend
2) Key comes out of ignition even when car is on. Car stays on
3) Exhaust rattles
4) Condensation in the driver's side head light
5) belt or pully is squeeking in colder weather

yeah thats it, but it's a lot though. Sorry, but I had to *****.

Pete

heh heh. My car will let the key come out while it's running, too. I just think of it as a convenience feature.

Key: that's a standard GM thing. Their lock cylinders use really cheap metal on the inside. Good or bad? Your call.

Condensation in headlight: just a little leak in the housing. Best to get it fixed ASAP.

Squealing pulley: Dude, let me know which pulley they fix. Make sure they check it cold. When you find out, I can finally fix mine.

Anyway, you took a second job so you could do stuff to your car? Jeez! You're getting a big ol' hug next time I see you. (either that or I'll buy you a beer)

Jim

lol yeah.

Ok so here is the run down:
1) Key: My key was worn down so much that it was able to slide out. They cut a new key, called it even and now it won't come out.

2) Condensation: They wanted to try putting a small hole in the headlight (at the rear) to see if it would go away. So far it seems to have worked and they wrote it down that if it doesn't work or I incounter problems I'll get a new headlight assembly

3) Squeek: The squeeking is my air pump. They don't wanna repalce because they said in extreme cold, or cold starts it will make that noise...That means every Saturn in Canada makes it. lol Jim, I don't think your car has the air pump. My old one didn't either.

4) Exhaust rattle: fixed

5) Clutch: needed some part that they put on. all good.

Total bill: $0.00 CDN funds which is like $-1.00 USD! lol

Jim, yeah I took a second job. For the first little while it's to get a base to live off of cause the car cost me a bit..It's also for moving money, even though I'm not bringing much, and it's for some car stuff too. You gotta do what you gotta do ya know?

Pete
