Default It's Been Awhile...Update on me!

So hi and hello once again. I know I took a leave of absence but I have been so busy lately. Let's see, for starters....I'm Engaged!!! After 4 years with my girl I finally popped it to her, did it last month. Here are a few pics of the ring.

GIA Certified
1.76 Princess Cut
Custom White Gold Mount (you can see the prongs actually criss cross)
4 Accent Diamonds on each side

The Matrix is still doing good, I have done a few things to it namely the following:

Powerslot rotors and Stillen Metal Matrix pads. I also painted my calipers and drums and added some custom Matrix logo stickers to them!

I also added yellow fog lamp overlays and put on some nice lexan covers that someone at genvibe.com makes to protect them from damage. I had one cracked already and paid $60 for a new one on Ebay, otherwise its $150 new from the dealer. So for $20 its worth it to have them.

Me and my fience also took a trip to San Francisco in April to visit a good friend, she lives right in the Marina district. Saw tons of stuff, Alcatraz, Golden Gate park, the bridge, Nappa/Sonoma valley (mmmm). What a great week off!

I also took the liberty of removing something Toyota does that is so annoying. Their sunroofs have this chinsy auto stop that halfway through closing you have to press the button again to finish the job. It's obnoxious so a $.50 diode from Radio Shack and a little soldering on the circuit board solved the problem!

Anyways, I think thats it for now, I'm about to get ready to do a major detail on the car real soon and get some new shoes, Kumho Ecsta ASX tires.

Talk to you all again soon, I'll be around more now that things have calmed down.
