Default saturn off road vehicle

Hey guys I found a CO that makes an adapter plate to put a satty engine in my bug. the only way it will fit is if I Baja the car and go the offroad route which I wanted to do anyway. the car will have A-arm front and rear suspension on a tubular frame. I want to have the PCM on the roof of the car on the inside along with any other vital electronics. Joe I would like to know what engine you would recomend for this a single or doubble cam and what year, and do you think it is posible to hook up the wireing harness to the bugs electrical system? so guys what do you think of the project?

Hey, that sounds cool. If you going to put a satty engine you might as well go for the most power with a DOHC. I'd imagine you would have to use the saturn wiring for it to work.

yea I got to use the Satty wireing but I also have to plug it into the car at some point where I dont know. my only reason for thinking of a sohc is that it may have more torke (sp) and be better suited for offroad I dont want to just spin the wheels in the mud or as I am trying to climb a steep grade
