Joey,
Well, I hope you have some room for some adopted family members, because as it stands right now, there's going to be 4 of my fellow members of Outer Limits Racing coming to the show to compete in the non-saturn classes! Here's the OLR line-up right now;

1. ME! (1994 Saturn SL2)
2. Corey Simms (1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT/VR-4)
3. Mike Morrow (1992 Mitsubishi Galant/VR-4)
4. Stacy Nielson (1991 Toyota Supra)
5. Josh Bordelon (2002 Acura RSX Type R)

My 4 friends all think it's cool what can be done with a Saturn, and they all wanna be there

Josh

Joey,
LOL it'll be like Deathrace 2000! Three turbocharged cars, two that might as well be, and all will be fine! Bro, they'll have a blast, and I hope that this next show tops this the past ones

well i wasn't gonna post on their board so i'll post here as usual

i don't see why everyone has to say the opposite of what you say joey, its like if you say 10w 40 is better than 30 some guy is gonna say, well i used 30 for 3 years without changin it! its just immature

And what pissed me off was that they acted like it was ok to run a stock head gasket, like there is no harm being done to the gasket, just because something is working doesn't mean that its strength isn't wearing down, especially under extreme conditions like boost.

And no i don't have turbo, supercharger etc so i'm not gonna get technical cause i'm probably not right. the guy got the supercharger slapped on to an old engine, and he had probs, then a stock engine put back into it, had problems, now hes getting a 2002 engine, and you know what, hes prolly going to have problems, i paid 4500 for my car, and i'm gonna put 3k in supercharger in it, that worth more than the old engine! so what do you expect when it blows up?

just seems like these people are in denial, you either do it right, or you don't, just because something is working at the time doesn't make it right

i'm really struggling for words here but you guys can see what i'm getting at, thier aren't many professional saturn engine builders, so why are these guys acting like joey doesn't know what hes talkin about?

Joey, I just wish that i lived closer to you man. It's sad really b/c I think your a great guy. Alot of you guys live closer together. I wish I could be a part of that, but it's a full day of driving for me (about 24 hrs.) to come down to Florida from Hamilton, Ontario (about 45 minutes away from Buffalo, NY). The only reason I know that is b/c in '91 my parents, some other relatives and I drove to FLA in our old Chevy van ('84), and it took about that long.

I do post on the other boards too, but I have ALOT of respect for this board. It's a great board.

I post on here, xtremesaturn, saturnspeed, and domestictunerz

I TRY not to get involved in flame wars, they get nowhere. Only when i have experience with something and I know what I did, I will stick by that. I can't stand it when someone tells me I did something wrong, if I did it just fine and all works out.

well, the answer is really simple, theres four guys, NONE of which has ever bought a damn thing from me, one of who ripped ME off big time cause im a trusting guy, they like to play dog pile on the rabbit, and yes, if i say its night, they wills wear its day, regardless of how stupid they look
check out old posts, its the same people, barf, hack, ian, all smart ass's, none of which has ever even been in a 12 second or better car let alone built one. maybe some day, when they grow up, they will realize that this is exactly why sps and other comapyns will NOT waste time on the net, why open themselves up to the line of fire?
so these 3 *******s pend their whole lifes WAITING, just dying for me to psot something, then, they jump all over it, its actually quite amusing if you ask me, but sinc eit can damage my business i have done my research.
at any time, if i have properly notified a baords owner of inappropriate behaviour and they decline to do anything, espcially if its flat out slander, like specifically, do not go to such and such etc, they leave themselves wide open for a liability suit, knowing this would not gain any freinds i have been the bigger man and as a matter of fact this the first time i have pulbicly mentioned that i could sue and shut down boards.
you really think that ANY board owner, weather he thinks he has a case or not, would WANT to tanlge with my legal team? really, as if
my lawyers are trained, do one thing and one thing only, literally crush someone under the weight of a lawsuit until they cant come up for air, with my income to me it is absoltuley nothing to blow 5-10 k a month if i feel its costing me sales.
think any of the boards are going to sruvive a coupel of months of pounding at that cost? sure at first barf and the cronies will start a fund drive, a bash joey drive, whatever, but within a month it would be over, simple.
so whenever you see some bull****, look who it is, barf, hack, ian, etc. 3-4 guys, who never, ever have purchased a damn thing from me, who simply think they know it all, thats it, all there is to it.
meantime, if it continues, well, ill do what i feel is neccaesry, it took me YEARS to build a reputaion without ONE SINGLE bb complaint or any other governing board such as florida consumer affairs.
and this hurts YOU, the community, other companys see this bull****, oh trust me, they see it, and theres NO WAY, they will post on any board, thus, keeping good info, from trained and certified proffesionals away from the public while the hacks and fly by nights fill the boards with their theorys and what they have read about.

hey joe, i really should have let you get the last word in on that one, but i figured i'd lock it down since everyone was starting to gang up on you; you were personally being called out on that one. BTW, i've got my email addy on there with a Zero instead of an 'O' in "hotmail" to keep the spammers away, so just try sending your mail again, just switch the 0 with o and i'll get it.

and all of you are right about the deterioration of saturnspeed, and i hate the fact that you all are right about it. i am very loyal to that board, although i read here very often, and xtreme ocasionally. things have become worse and worse due to immaturity, but its up to admin (john) to decide who to ban and who not to ban. true, a lot of the posts are either way off topic, or become a dong waving contest; but there are a few of us left that are usefull there. plus, i've already bought decals and a hat, so i'm not going anywhere anytime soon! I really hate that most of you think so negatively about the board, but its not like you're lying or have unsubstantiated claims.

Johnny I think most people still try and cruise Satunrspeed because of the old good guys like you. Your comment alone explains how mature you are. At least some of the good guys are left standing from the old old boards I once remembered.
