SaturnSpeed revamp - Page 2

I joined here like a week after I joined Saturnspeed! I hated that site because of all the BS going on there. So I was forget these forums. Then I started coming on here alittle more and really liked it. Everybody was nice and had good info to tell you when you needed it. I like how the site is set-up. I would be lost without this site. And I wouldn't of even known about SPOC-PA. And that would of sucked really bad and I wouldn't of met some of the nice people that I have here on the forum.

hate to be the one to fill you in, but, they banned the one wrong guy and left the 3 flaming *******s.sadly, john has ignored repeated attempts to make some kind of resolution to the problem.
i can and will say this before the yahoos start waving their flags, quietly i was the one who pulled my sponsorship off the board about 3-4 months ago, i wouldnt lower myself or my company to their standards, say what they will, i have the emails, it was me that pulled due to what was going on.
I gave the site owners plenty of times to rectify the problem, his reply was, everyone has their opinion, allthough, 2 of the 3 stooges were never customers of mine, and the worse part, the main stooge has apporoved of my company so many times and has had so many perfect business transactions even his hatred for me couldnt allow him to speak bad about my company.
but, i have emails where as a mdoerator he contacted partys privatley and diverted business.
this is the one and only time i will speak on the subject, the next few months will reveal what i am led to believe is the best thing to protect both my income and my good reputation.

John is a good guy and a great webmaster. I don't personally post there anymore, partially because I don't have a Saturn anymore, and partially because a majority of the people I actually liked came to this board.

He will get it all fixed up there. He has a load of info on the site, so that will attract new members. I am always logged on to his forum and I keep up to date on what is going on. I like it there and I like the way he does things there.

He, as with many other Webmasters for Saturn have done a lot for us all in the Saturn Community.

I also wanted to point this out: I am now on F150 forums and I have been there for a while. Nobody argues about anything there. I am also on a very large car club forum that is based in my city. Nothing happens there either. I've only encountered this kind of stuff on Saturn message forums.

It's about damn time they start cleaning up there. I'm a member of satrnspeed. but I almost never go or post there. Mainly cause some of the people there I don't like and there's nothing really useful there. Even if they clean it up there I don't think I'll visit on a regular basis anyways. I feel that saturnspot.com is the best saturn board out there so far and the best I've seen. I'm definately staying here.

Easy haas. No one said you didnt pull your sponsorship. I remember that post on the board a long time ago. Im 110% positive no one questioned that. I dont buy used parts, so im not one your customers so im looking from a totally outside point of view. The question was, if your not liked there, why would you want to post there? Every day you tell people over there you dont like them, but you still post? I mean I think your an alright guy here on the boards, know what im saying? Ive never had trouble with you, dont expect trouble in the future, I just thought i'd ask. Dont flame me over it, it was just an observation.

ev, i can answer that, i got along with 90% of the people on the board, matter of fact i can boil 98% of the trouble down to three people and maybe another 2 -4 will pipe in, so a whole board should suffer?
john says in his speech about how hard he's worked to build the board, waas i not part of the whole saturn community growing when i banked a half a million bucks on saturn in 1995, then spent years with the on line community, when freinds thought i was nuts? how many thousands of dollars came directly out of my pockets due to sponsorship, discounts freebies etc, which i never minded doing, but only to be ruined by THREE? who should be affected by the spring cleaning? do a little backround reading, youll see every post not once am i the first to sling foul words,i merely defend myself which i always have. and only get more infuriated when someone justifys attacking my wife, family, medlical condition, business practices with a " their only speaking their opinion" yet turns tail yesterday and says 'personal attacks on persons, family etc will NOT be tolerated?"
i didnt mind answering yuor questions so you know where IM coming from but really, i dont have much to say on this at this point, its gone way to far for those who have witnessed it for 6 months or so now. before that i could go on any board, say hey wazzzup and 50 people would say wazzzup back.
seemsmore like childish jealousy to me, one is attemtping to start their own performance shop, un certified, un licensed, and cant even hold a full time mechanics job, gee, wonder why they want to be king of the hill, another simply will say black when i say white, for this the community should suffer? 2000 other members shouldnt learn about intoducing more fuel, which cept for me and paul maccan has been a little traveled world amongst saturns, get the point? thats just one development, many guys write me off line about this and point me to threads where people fling crap that im NOT even on or around, its getting old.

Thats cool, thanks for answering my questions. Ive been on the boards for a really long time. I saw what started the whole thing last april on XS, and then SS. I know the whole publicly offered story. I know your talking about mrbracing and fonzo. I just see it that everyone, including you are a very opinionated group of people. Thats not bad, but just seems like the ego gets in the way. Joey, you seem to know your stuff, and i know mrb and fonzo do too from reading there post for years, but i dont see why you guys as a whole cant just drop it.

Oh well, everyone be good, we dont need the drama here too so i'll go ahead and shut up lol.

we can agree to diasagree ev, i dont consider someone whos NEVER built any internally built engine experienced, anyone can slap nitro on a car.
nor does building one or two, or even a half dozen engines quailfy you in my book.
i never down someone for wanting to leanr, but questioning, no, insulting YEARS of expereince grows old.
and i agree, we dont need the dram to spill out over here, nor will i allow it, but i have no problem answering a addressed question, im not the raving lunatic that 3 high schoolers make me out, or egg me on, to be.

ps, i would like to add though, not only not building an engine, but also laying claim that your a welder, and having THREE welds fail in the first three hours resulting in two brand enw batterys falling off never to be seen again, not to mention over 500 in repairs to cover the first welds, well, i would not only call that inexpereince i will steer anyone far away every chance i get.

I got see the whole thing unfold between you, fonzo, and mrb. It was fuct up, fonzo would start an attack and then mrb would be right behind him. I know what it feels like to be double teamed and flamed everytime you turn around. I would like to see john ban quite a few people and i will say that mrb and fonzo are 2 on the list. They do know a little bit about saturns but they have a problem with anyone offering a suggestion to make the engine reliable (ie. copperhead gasket). One thing that I have learned just from what I do at work is that saying how something works and making that thing work are 2 totally different things. I have problems with people that build motors on paper. When you build it on paper it looks great but there are problems that you encounter when it comes to turning the wrenches that the paper builder never sees. I know that I just way off topic but I had to get it out, end of rant.
