Default SaturnSpeed revamp

It looks like SaturnSpeed is in for a few changes.

Maybe, this will get rid of a few of the ones that are rocking the boat with every post but then again it might not.

as opposed to IDB post? rflmao.

I think there is definitely a problem, but now that one person got banned i think it will chill out a lot. Maybe not, who knows i guess time will tell, but it will be nice to see a more relaxed board over there.

I'm not usually one to complain, however I feel it's come down to weather or not I should voice my opinion on this whole matter. So what the hell......what do I got to lose. The first board I came across in the "Saturn" world was SaturnFans. When I first found it, I thought it was very informative, and there were some nice people on there. Some great people in fact. Then along came XtremeSaturn and SaturnSpeed, both of which I joined, and both I found just as informative, and alot of great people, and they both were alot of fun. Then this board popped up, so I joined here as well, and same story applies.....great people, alot of fun, and loads of usefull information.

After quite some time of posting on all four, I was "belittled" on SaturnFans a time or two, and I just felt that apparently, what information I got there, I could get on the other three boards, and have more fun at the same time. I continued to post on Xtreme, Speed, and here, quite often on all three. After a while, I began to notice some "wars" breaking out between members of Xtreme and Speed, along with slander towards members, and slander towards "other cars". I'm sorry, but that's just not my idea of fun.

So, to this point, I only usually post on SaturnSpot. Mostly because I find it just as informative, if not more then the other boards, I have alot more fun here then on the other boards, there's no "wars" here......nobody is bashing anyone else here......and for the most part, we all get along and have a great time, which is what this is all about, right? This, of course, is all just my honest opinion.

Guys,
The first Saturn board I ever posted to was XtremeSaturn, back in it's hey-days. It was a VERY fun board to be on when I joined, and I learned a great deal about Saturns and Saturn Performance in the month between me finding XS and getting my car. After that, it slowly started going downhill... Yes, I made some good friends there (incidentally, all of my friends are here on SS too hehehehe), but when some of the more "colorful" members there started to flame other members for their beliefs, I knew it was not the same board... Then, I got flamed HARD by some fruitcake there who called me every name in the book for stating my views on a board that had nothing to do with Saturns. This guy pissed me off royally, and actually made me start to question my involvement in Saturn Performance. He ranted and raved on about what HE had done in Saturn Performance, such as designing performance engine parts for Saturns and such, and how I made the scene look bad... I knew this dude was an ******* then, so I just shut up and let him vent... Well, apparently Karma decided to show it's head and slapped him around a bit, because not even 2 days after he attacked me, his Saturn got stolen! Now, I'm not going to say that what happened to this cat was a good thing, but I will say that I've always believed that if you do something bad to another, it'll come back to bite you in the ass. It came back to him and cost him his car...

Anyways, the point is that we have a good thing here on SS, and it's something that the others lack; maturity. We're all family, and we all try to help one another the best we can! We're the proof that Saturn Performance is alive and well. If a person ever were to ask me what the best Saturn Board is, I'll answer them with SaturnSpot.com WITHOUT hesitation!

Josh

I posted on all the other boards as well.....UNTIL "RICE" became the "THEME" or so it seemed. That got old and was just plain DUMB. So I slowly stopped reading posts over there.....this one popped up and I jumped on board.

The frist board that I came across was SaturnSpeed, so I joined it and found it informative and fun. I even met a few of the others that I talked to on a regular basis. Then, 1 indiviual appeared that just caused friction with every post, then another, and another, and another, and so on. The peeps that I frist met are still there, so I have watched the board and posted very little. One day I saw a post for a new board and low and behold, here I am. I have met quite a few of you and had one hell of a time. I even have a video of pure insanity at its best (kdiddy). I believe that it is possible for 1 or 2 to interupt the good time of the many. I am sooo very happy that we have one hell of a great board here.

I kinda see where you guys are coming from. I dunno, i think saturnspeed provides some great advice, they have some of the most knowledgable people in all the saturn community there. I dont know joey, but he seems well liked here, and disliked for the most part there. I dont know why he would want to post where he is not liked anyways. It's not like people dont know where to find him if they want to talk to him.
