| Seats, seats, seats.... Hey guys. I finally got to go shopping for new front seats for my 94 yesterday. For those of you who don't know, my seats were thouroughly and utterly F*CKED. I won't go into detail, but they caused me pain and tore clothing.
Anyhoo, I hit every wrecker in town yesterday. Prices ranged from (in Canadian bucks, so just drop 35% off for US) $100 for a pair of fairly okay 94 buckets, to $400 for another similar pair. I saw a full leather beige interior, complete with door panels, headliner..everything, for $250, and TONS of other beige stuff. (why so much beige?)
Here's the good stuff, the guy I deal with at the Saturn dealership said he could hook me up with some used seats from a 94 (cuz he said nothing else would fit) and he was gonna charge $200 bucks each for 'em. Funny...
That's funny because I got a set of PRISTINE 2001 seats, in black, for $100 each, and whaddya know, they fit.
Now, what I need to know is, will the REAR seats from a 2001 SL fit in the REAR of my 1994 SL? I'd love to have 'em match. Y'know?
Jim

| Yep, all saturn seats are interchangeable. You'll definately like the new seats over the old ones. |

See, in 95 when they changed the bodystyle a bit on the sedans, they changed some of the hardpoints on the roof and it's pillars. I need to be positive about the lower half, particularly the parcel shelf. I'm almost positive they didn't change anything on the shock towers or floor pan.

Jim | I'm not 100% positively sure if they're exactly the same, but I've just heard that saturn seats are interchangeable amongst all of them. As long as it's a SL rear seat it seems like it would be ok. Joey would know for sure on this. Joey, what's the word? |

| all seats interchange BUT on some, on the rear latch after the seats in youll find the rear latch might be one inch off of where it locks into the back of the car, easy enough, plenty of metal to screw into, take the latch off the back of the seat, move it over a inch or whatever it needs to lock down, mark the points, self tapping scres, viola, your in like flynn.
