can anyone tell me why a clutch would be hard to shift though the gears and it grinds if you try to put it in first with one push of the clutch but if you push the clutch twice it doesnt grind

throw out bearing is taking a sh*t. thats my guess. if your going to replace the throw out bearing you might as well replace your entire clutch.

if you have a 91-94 manual then it says here your pressure plate is faulty...or you may need to bleed the the system if air got into your clutch system because of the hydralics....now im quteing from my chiltons manual, so dont hold me to it, im in troubleshooting. ill research more and get back to you.

**** man i nkow why, you have anew clutch and probably did not get your flywheel turned, and now it is trying to fit your flywheel and this also known a a break in period for your clutch, which i belive is about 500 miles. so take it easy on your clutch and shift easy and everything shoudl shift onto place for you. iof not PM me and we'll try to solve this problem for you with out paying an assload of money to a mechanic.

holy sh*t d00d, thats the most amount of miles ive heard on a Saturn to this day....wow...thats alot of miles. If you need an engine get a hold of Joey and he can help you out. But if the engine is g00d, why replace? Just be patient with your saturn and it will take care of you.
