Default and so we raced, and raced we did!

awww, best time? 16.1 @ 89, this car took over 9 runs of hard core running, no problems, like it was nothing, STILL nowhere near what it can do, now why did it only run a 16? HOOK UP, absoltuley no hook up, how fast is it? ok well heres the deal, and i think bobs got videos of some of the races, at take off, bob had tires that are about as slick as a babys ass and about 3/4 of an inch high, low profiles are NOT race tires, they will NOT have any sidewall flex and are unforgiving.
now the good news, the car SCREAMS.. how can it scream yet run a 16? welll race after race, even with good r/t's the car would literally blow the tires to smithereens, once we dropped 20lbs and that ALONE took two whole seconds off.
once it hooked up, and we had two drivers and tried every diffrent manuveur, rolling starts, heating the tires up, lowering the pressures we simply cannot hook up over 250 hp on those street slicks bob has, now, on two occasions we were against mustang gts, ONE SUPERCHARGED, once we llost off the line and the mustangs gt's had two car lenghts on us the REST OF THE WHOLE 1/4 MILE THEY COULD NOT GIAN AN INCH, on the non supercharged one we actually almost CAUGHT HIS ASS TOWARDS THE END OF THE TRACK!
i dont have to make excuses or hide track times like some other turbo saturns out there, i DONT MAKE EXCUSES, we had plenty of witness's including bob and his mom who were both smiling like pigs in ****! this car is A SOLID FLAT OUT 13.8 second car WITH ONLY BETTER TIRES, thats it, its dialed in, its fast, from a roll the car will take on many many 40 thousand dollar v-8 cars and cream them.
my three runs r/ts were .9 then .8 then .7 ray ray was running from .9 to 1.2
the car handled about 9 runs like it wasnt even working hard, we drove it 150 miles to the track, we did not haul it there then bob drove about 200 mils home afterwards!
leaving the line we tried rolling a little then nailing it, before, at 6 psi the car COULDNT break the tires loose, NOW? the car cant keep em from tearing loose from ANY speed under 30 mph. as many people who have fast saturn know, after 200 hp traction becomes the issue and it sure reared its ugly head last night.
we tried simply nailing it, with tires screeching for 30 feet we lost at least two seconds, how do we know? our 1/8 of a mile times took up to 10 seconds with the second 1/8 only taking another 6. now, when people at the track who work there go out of there way and say "wow, when that thing hooks its going to be fast" when a STANG OWNER, A HONDA OWNER, AND A ECLIPSE OWNER, walk up to me and bob and say, holy ****, at first we thought, why are they racing a saturn? then we heard the turbo whistle and saw your take off;s thats one fast car, you know you did something special.
the kinks are worked out, next the car gets 2.5 exhasut and im going to sponsor bob at this point and pay for some cheater slicks for the track, one ride and youll understand how feirce this car is, we actually got better traction on the street then on the track, this car will literally pull the front up and push your ass so far back in the seat you couldnt grab a twenty dollar bill off the dash board if you tried! LOL
either way it was a blast, discouraged by the times?NOT AT ALL, we had many people comment on the car and people walking up to US and saying that, with slicks, is a 13 second saturn!
if you look at pictures, or know bobs car you know of all the low profiles he has the lowest, his tires are about 3/4 of an inch high if that. plus their street pattern is slick, not the type of slick for racing but like slick like baldies. we know, with nothing else, we ARE at 14 flat OR BELOW.
on a roll, ill take on any comers. after some better tires ill also take on any comers from a roll or not, not one race could the car next to use gain an inch after hook up, period, and we were agaisnt v-8's most of the night the only acura integra we were next to ray ray creamed.
the extra injectors are on and running, they work fantastic, if you could only feel the pull, even when losing it off the line, then the tremendous force of 12 psi blowing your ass back into the seat, well then youd understand why im happy, theres no need for excuses or oh it could do this or that, we raced, we saw, we did! nothing could shake us once rolling, nothing could gain an inch, not nitrous, not v-8's, not nothing! we had a blast. next time, with slicks, it WILL pull a 14.5 or lower, just from my years of racing i know what it will do, its not a guess, its fact. there simply is no holding that car down in current form.
oh, and by the way, were ripping them loose WITH a phantom grip.

maypops! LOL, we WERE worried , we were letting air out, and everytime we did we made incredible gains, from 2 seconds at first to half seconds, JUST from releasing air, but their SO low profile that when we hit 15 psi we were worried they were going to come off the rim, absolutley not the best for speed, looks, yes, speed no.
