Default So what does a turbo SC2 run?

I mean in the 1/4 mile. Assuming the rotating assembly is stock. Anyone know or got a turbocharged model with timeslips?

how much boost?
on stock internals with 9lbs of boost you are looking at mid to high 14`s

At what point do the pistons/rods/crank finally give out?

Lol...well in my case the pistons give out as soon as an old injector fails to fire while under boost...

Usually 5~6 is fairly safe, some have gone higher to like 8~9. After that the first thing you need to replace is the the pistons, from what I understand the rods will survive an ok amount of power...I know that a few people can give pretty accurate #'s as to what the stock parts are capable of.

Nope..still waiting for me to drop some new pistons in it. Unfortunately I never got a chance to bring it to the track because it died before race season started....

Well, from the Xtremesaturn car show in Orlando a turbo SL2 with the garage advance turbo kit ran 13.3 at 12 psi with slicks.

Lets not forget to mention that he still pulled 13's with lower psi's, plus he is running a stock bottom engine. Yes the motor is not built, however, I do feel that someone will be arguing soon about how that is not reliable. But as of right now I think GA is trying to push the limits on a stock motor to see what it can do.
