Default Speed Shops in North East PA/ NY

I live in North East PA (only about 6 miles from the NY state border) and I was curious as to whether or not there are any other saturn enthusiats around that area? I'm also curious about speed shops that actually understand that saturns can be tuned! In my area I am one of the only saturn owners/enthusiasts and no one really works on them. Let me know if anyone has any info for me. Thanks!

-Jeff

I'm not sure of NE PA, but there's one right outside of Allentown called Auto Addictions that does understand Saturns and are willing to work with everybody. First time I went in there, when they were fairly new to the area, they had nothing for Saturns, but they wanted to work with me, so they said they were going to attempt to find everything they could. At the time, there really wasn't much......but what they did find, they called me with. They also got all the specs on Saturn engines for all years and models to keep on hand. Jeff, you should come to the Saturn of the Valley ION launch car show on November 16th in the Allentown area and while you're here, u could check out the shop.

Is the car show just for the debut of the ION or are people bring their saturns to show?

The show is their debut of the ION, yes, but it is a Saturn Performance car show also. On the dealerships flyers and advertisements for the show, they are advertising that SPOC-PA will be holding a car show at the dealership that day.

AWESOME! too bad my car is ugly right now I just took my wheels and what not off of it because I'm selling it. I'll do my best to get down there because I want to see what I can do to a 97 Sc2 and a car show is a good place to see it. Thanks for the info!

Northeast Pa, really?
COOL!!

I am currently going to school here in State College.
But, my home is in Lakewood, PA right around Pleasant Mount.
And I too am about 6 or so miles from the NY border.
The closest NY town is Hancock.

Welcome aboard!!

Hey thats cool that you're that close. Right now I am in college in Bloomsburg, which is about 1 hr east of State College on I80 i believe. Hancock is about 20 miles from where I live at home. Have you been to Callicoon? (what a great name for a town) [/quote]

Yup, been there a few times.
Yeah, but what's better are Hancock and Deposit.
Think about it.
