the Spot going Skitz-O???

ok is it just me or are others having the problem where the spot marks everything as read every time something NEW is posted? Grrrrrrr

first last night couldn't get on to post anything other then ONE post, now this.

Well, there has been some issues with the Internet and ISPs. Some people with certain ISPs cannot access only certain sites possibly because of alter.net, which many ISPs peer with is currently down in washington.

But the mark thing as read.. thats a common problem with PHPBB.

Did The Spot go out on anybody last night? I couldn't access it after 9:30.

Yeah, I lost it for a bit too......but after 11:30 it was fine again. Probably a combination of the server, the individual ISP's, the interactivity of the web, PHP in general........it could be anything that's causing it. At the same time last night, I couldn't access quite a few of the sites I frequent, so who knows.

That would most likely be the ISP problem I was talking about. My stats show me that saturnspot.com has not went down in 2003.

If u take a look at times people posted......there were posts all around 9:30 and no large pause in posting, so the site wasn't down........just a conflict for some. Hey......this is the internet.....it's never perfect
