| They're just an MSD coilpack with a black case instead of a red one. Windings and everything else are the exact same. |

| Will work on any S-series saturn but the 96-99 require modification to the mounting plate (dont know the correct wording), the tabs on the left side of the plate need removed for the pack to fit securly.

| i think their a waste of money the factory packs when working good provide MORE THEN ENOUGH ass to light up your car. you wont feel any diffrence as far as performance, modern cars coil packs are VERY strong to begin with, useless new product if you asked me.

I would like to see them compared because I know the coil packs are different between MSD and Accel.
All I am thinking is if I was SPS I would love to feed off that these are made in the same place as MSD. But for my reissurance I would rather go with MSD until there is a comparison. MSD has proved themselves when it comes to spark, SPS hasn't, IMO...

| I always thought that the SPS ones were Accel. While MSD made their own. Of course they are all going to be similar since they are the same part replacement. But I would think MSD would offer the better quality. I thought about getting these for my 94 SL1 and I most likely will by the end of the summer. $89 shipped for a set of MSDs, and they are in red which matches my engine bay color scheme. |

Tom | Well, seeing as the casing is a MSD-design, and not at all the same as any other brand or model of coilpack, that would be pretty safe to assume. Not to mention, why would they bother having them custom made instead of OEMed when it's a part that makes virtually zero power anyway? Those are definately MSD cores. |
