Default Starting a petition!

I think they should jus get rid of suv's and mini vans and trucks cuz its a safety issue for us people in a small economy car and they say they are safe but if they hit a small car then were screwed. They are the reasons for high gas prices and they are not safe cuz they are too big and you cant see around them. The semi's are ok because they need to transport items for us to survive and trucks should only be allowed for BUISNESS USE and not for fun. Women dont need mini-van's they can get a station wagon or a car.

Who agrees with me?

hahahaha

comon sense yeah right....

i have no solid facts to back up my pov, but mini vans from what ive seen are generally the most unsafe vehicles out there... the engine gets pushed back and the drivers and passegers feet get stuck under the dash... possibly amputated...

and you want the government to ban a certain type of car?

hahaha

i would support an aditional road test for certain vehicles.. like say over a certain weight, or size.. but you cant ban a type of vehicle..

hhahaha

remember prohibition?

omg.. alcohol is unsafe and belongs to the devil!!! !hahaha.. lets ban it... yeah.. that worked out good...

the fact is that people are stupid and buy **** that they cant handle.. so live with it...

your petition should be for addtional testing.. like say a vehicle of over a certain number of passengers or weight... not banning an entire type of vehicle.

I agree that SUVs and trucks and stuff get in the way and are a huge pain in the ass when I'm driving my Saturn on the beltway at 6 AM, and they hinder my view, but, in all honesty, it's their right to drive what they want. What if SUV owners did the same and said "Well, small cars aren't as safe, so, naturally, we should ban small cars so that all the big ones are the only safe ones. Except in rollovers..." I mean, really...

Some people do have a use for it. Big family, lots of luggage, dont want a minivan, prefer an SUV, need a pickup for their job, or work area, etc. And, if they dont, what the hell, its a free country. That's like criticizing sports car drivers for not actually needing it, but only wanting it -- how often can they drive to the max of their car's capabilities on the highway? Not often, but they get the cars anyhow. And, hey man, my neighbor's 4-wheel drive Explorer pulled my old Passat out of about 2 feet of snow uphill once, and saved my day, so what can I say...

I get 13 miles per gallon on a good day and I'm damn proud. I enjoy being able to drive my couch, err, I mean car, down the highway.

Nothing beats floating down the road on an old land yacht...
