Default To the tech heads

For thouse of you that know what happend to my car I just talked to the dealership. They said there is some kind of additive in my manual transmission. It appears to be gas but there sending it out to be analized, does anyone know how it would have gotten in there? Keep in mind i have only lifted my hood about 3 or 4 times since i got the car, and they do all the oil changes and service, as i bought the extra care package. And why would this have caused my clutch to fail? thanks 02c2

no way for fuel to enter the tranny, two totally seperate sealed systems, somethings fishy....when they try and stick you with a new trans remeber to call me, damn sure dont give them the satisfaction of the sale. but, like i said, fuel cannot mix with the tranny fluids gearbox, aint happening.
oh, and by the way, i do analysis all the time for automotive fraud work for laywers, i can read the print outs and understand what it means, send me a copy of their anaylsis!

I agree with Joey, obviously he's a pro. There is no way in hell that fuel could get into your trans unless you put it there.

Heck yeah it sounds like a fraud......that's BS if u ask me. The only possible way is if someone were to pop your hood and pour fuel into where the tranny fluid goes.....but why would someone do that first of all, and how would they have gotten the car open without breaking anything?
