test drivin a rx8

well my friend and i were bored so we went down to our local car dealerships and made up a pretty good story and it tied together pretty good, we told them that we were step brothers and our dad was gonna buy us both brand new cars b4 we go off to college, so we stopped at a mazda dealer and got to test drive a brand new rx8 fully loaded! holy crap was i impressed with that, the power was always there handled incredible and rode like a champ, there were two things i noticed right away, brakes were EXTREMELY touchy damn near went through the windshield pressin the brakes and the clutch engaged all at once not a progressive thing at all.

rx8's are weak, especially for the price. There is no torque to speak of. I would barely call it a sports car.

And not to be an ass but I am sure the salesman...that works on commission to feed his family appreciates you wasting his time

he told me that he sold 6 rx8s in the past month so i think hes doing alright

its his job... he gets paid then comitions also (prolly but im not sure about this but still) and unless he went on the test drive with u how much ****ing time was really being wasted its not like when u go to a dealership theres a damn line out the door give me a break

still while he was out test driving for themto have fun he COULD have gotten the next customer that might have actually wanted to buy the car. It's not like becuase of this hes not gonna have food on the table. But I know I would hate it if people came into my work (I'm a host at California Pizza Kitchen)) walk around to every table sat down at one for 45 mins then didn't order anything.

Yeah... Having sold cars for a while, I can tell you that it is a waste of time, and salespeople really don't appreciate it at all. Car sales people don't get paid salary or hourly wages.
