for whatever reason, half a dozen people keep IMing me seeking saturn go-fast advice. i don't know squat about saturns nor their motors or layout, just about cars (domestics, mustangs) in general. you can ask but don't expect an intelligent or correct response! just an FYI! now ask me about mustangs, and that's another story.

why are mustangs crap and why did they get rid of the 5.0?
1) subjective.
2) gas mileage. the puny 4.6 ohc took it's place. it's decent now with the improved intakes and heads over the intial 96-98 release of their whoping 200rwhp
