Hrmm... Quite a problem, that lack of title.

Track-only car?

Seriously though, you should be able to get a title for it somehow. Can't be too difficult, but probably very time consuming.

Yeah, I was a little worried about it...I figured if everything falls through, I either make it track only, or buy a totalled shell and use that title.

BUT my dad's friend works in a car dealership, and he says he titles cars with no titles 3 times a week. Apparently, the car has to get inspected to make sure it's safe, and then a replacement title can be issued. I'm not sure if the car will pass with the current seats in it, so I may have to put stock seats in for inspection...or make my Saturn seats fit...hahaha.

oh, I suppose I can update this....

I've got a title for the car It's going to be a few weeks yet, but I should have plates on it before the end of the school year and be driving it.

I "cleaned up" the interior

I put the vaccuum in the hatch and totally got deja vu..lol

I found this quarter underneath the carpet, underneath the padding glued to the floor on the passenger side. The date on it is 1985...it has been in the car since it left the assembly line!! Crazy.

And, pics of where the car is currently at, and all the crap I pulled out.

wonder why they put those seats in and left it stock seatbelt? had to be uncomfortable at best!

Ive got some sparco seats in my 99 Mustang GT and for the first couple days w/ stock seatbelt it was EXTREMELY uncomfortable.

Love the car. You've got a lot of work ahead.

It's actually not that bad. The guy put the seats in because the stock ones were all ripped up and he had them laying around cause he totalled his WS6...lol.

There was a, I think, 90 RX7 in the shopper a couple weeks ago for 1000, and I thought about getting it because my Saturn was down then too. But I looked it up online and seen they werent exactly the hottest cars, so I passed on it. I knew people made them fast, but I didn't realize you could make them that fast that cheap????

i was thinking, why are those gapping holes in the rear strut enclosures? did he have a strut bar there or something?

also, you could probably just paint the metal black, or make one of those coverings like the guy with the vibe did and cover it up nicely without adding weight, man i wish i had a project car
