| I can vouc for the head work. My friend was with me one day , he weighs in at 320lbs. e's riddin with me before an said my car was quick, BUT when i had tkt13 installed, he was amazed at how uch my power it had compared to the old motor. The only difference between the two engines are the heads. same boltons were used. Even my extrude-honed intake was transfered over, Hey joey remember how smooth the was?
Another thing, DON"T buy total-seal rings for n/a rebuilds. They don't work!
Right Joey?
I have 5k<miles> on this engine and no.3 cly. oil control rings won't seat, causing blowby/ missfire at stoplights. <lots of you heard my story before> saturnmotorsports even has issues with total-seal and SM also knows about my issue as well.
ok i've said enough on this subject.

| i agree, the total seals were junk, BUT, todd, dont forget to fill in the gaps, your installer sent you out with a bad leaking valve cover, if you cant spark, ie misfires, your washing down the cyl walls with unburnt fuel which MOST liely is the reaosn that cyl didnt seat, i wont use total seals again ut i fully beleive the leaking valve cover gasket when the rings were installed is what caused your problems.
when twin cam spark plug wells fill up with oil they lose spark to that cyl, in your case with a brand new head, and new rings on a used block, man that was a bad recipe for disaster, but hey, you got me installing the new one so you sure aint got to worry bout the dumb **** that went on up north!
60+ for a gasket, that ruined your rings...that sucked!
read my other post about updates, your pistons and tkt 0016's came in.

| now that i think about it, ed, you have a small edge as far as cubic inches, but todd has an extrude honed intake and is going nos from what i understand (hey todd, if you blow the intake clear off, i AINT giving you no warranty! LOL) both you guys will have nice torque though.
oh, me and bob, owner of tkt 0020 had a long discussion yesterday, he is putting together his OWN turbo kit, and this guys serious (he will be signing up and is reading spot BTW) so ill let him explain when he jumps in
he is making a stand alone fuel /spark delivery system which im very intertested to see what he does once we send him his motor, hes going BIG turbo, not worried about lag, or off the line, he knows that everything is a compromise hes going for flat out once hes rolling kick anythings ass that comes next to him! lol
seriously though, i hope you post soon bob, and tell everyone what you told me, i know your still undecided on some of your options as far as what your using exactly but the group im sure would love to hear what you told me!
