Forged pistons, rods, more fuel and good engine management..... Really the only thing you need to run higher boost.. Porting of the head and different valves etc. are good, but not nessasary. The engine will produce a lot more power with it done, but if your pushing to get a turbo on and don't have the money for a full head job, the stocker will work fine, but it will be restictive. But head is a easy slap-on when you do finally get the money.. From what I hear the emanage would work. I really don't know that much about it. The most important thing is making sure you don't run lien!!! Too much fuel is better than not enough fuel!!! you can always take fuel away, but it is harder to add it. And you would still need bigger injectors also.
