Default Which Vehicles have....

I'm forming an idea for a modified HVAC control panel.....
I need an HVAC control panel from another brand vehicle that is completely flat or pretty flat...this includes all buttons. I don't want the buttons to stick out any further then like 1/2"

let me know if you know of any vehicles that fit this description. THanks

88-91 honda civic, 97+ Jeep Wrangler are 2 that I can think of. Beware the Jeep uses vacume to controll the vent position (ie. vent, defrost, floor)

Em, since you'll be doing a custom thing I'd guess, why not mount the stock switches a little further back inside of the HVAC?

GIGGLE GAS

Well, look in to '95ish body styled LeSabres.
The HVAC is TOTALLY flat except for 2 sliders

<Suspicious squint> And just where in the heck are you relocating it to, hmm?

This is probably all my fault, people. All of my HVAC ranting probably had her out staring at the HVAC all night until she had a vision or something.

I'm not sure what you mean by "flat", but the 94-03 Mustang has a flat panel behind the knobs. The 3 knobs just pull right off....

This was the best pic I could find at the moment, the metal knobs are aftermarket:
