| i cant recall, i once beat a ruff turbo with my blue z ( the one on my race page at the bottom of the page) afterwards he let me take it up to 160. (this car was one of pikes peaks winners, the owner was not to happy i smoked his ass after bragging in my shop how bad it was, my blue car had incredible hook up, 0-60 in 3.8 seconds consistently) you been to my race page kevin? the blue and red z's were designed by me and built at my old shop...
ive topped out almost every car i owned...****, i dont know dude....all the race cars...hell ive spent more time over 100 mph then most PILOTS for god sake..really.
ok lets hear what you folks have been up to, i know i been 160+

| Lets see, an '88 2 door chevy blazer built for drag racing and it's also streeet legal. It's gutted, has a fully built 383 stroker, 200 shot N20, and a bunch of other crap. Tuned properly it's run a 6 in the 1/8, but most of the time runs mid 6's in the 1/8, which turns out to be around a low 10 second 1/4 mile car. It's crazy, you're back is pinned to the seat the whole time. |

They're all just different version (some Chevy, Some Ponty) with different engines and luxury qualities (leather, alloys and such)

| In the 1/4 mile I would have to say a friends 67 Nova with a small block 415 c.i. that ran in the mid 10's.
On the street it would have to be my old Camaro with a 350 in it that was pushing about 420hp.
I had to put the stock gears in it at one time which were a 2.56 ratio highway gears. Well my speedo only went to 130mph so I'm not exactly sure of the top speed but I would put it near 150mph. I know it would do 125 at about 5,500 rpm in 2nd gear with the th350 tranny in it.
Boy did the front end get light at those speeds. |
