| I agree. It's like a bunch of people that are ALL underdogs and know how one another feels. Once you've been slammed on, it's hard to slam on somebody else. Plus nobody on here TaLkS LikE tHiS. | When I bought my first Saturn, there was no such thing as Saturn Forums online, or Saturn Aftermarket. I bought it because i needed a day to day car quick due to my camaro getting out of hand. I quickly grew to become attached to that car and when it was totalled, I just had to have another one. Between then and now, the people that I've met, the people in the saturn community, those who I have quickly become to call my family, is the reason now that I will hold on to my Saturn until it falls apart. If you could measure horsepower in friendship, well then us Saturn owners have the fastest cars in the world.

| it's nice to come to a board where you can be a little silly, be serious, give some advice and receive advice with no "fine print" |

| I play with my car because it's what I've got. If I was driving a lawnmower to work everyday, I'd hop that up too.

| I do mine cause it's different, and I can do it.
It's also what I have (hope to be hopping up a GN right outta college).
I also like that the ******* rating is low, and the actual factual advise is abundant.

| I bought my Saturn because I had heard and then did some research that they were very dependable. When I went to the dealier to look into buying one it was so noticable that they were a family. I knew that I was buying a great car. Now I have proof that Saturn has the biggest family then any other car company out there. |

| I bought my saturn cause I wanted a car with A/C. Been driving for 8 years now and never had a car with it. Buy why mod, cause I've modded every other car I've had, ***ashamed to say*** '83 Honda Civic 1500cc, ***proud to say*** '86 GMC Safari, '71 Chevy C-10 (550hp), '84 GMC (inline 6, w/three-on-the-tree), and now my '96 SL2. All of my previous cars have recieved some sort of modding to make them either go faster, sound cooler, or just look neat.

| When I got my 92 SL1 there was only SaturnFans. Once I got my 94, things changed, boards sprung up, and I found a whole community of people touching their cars. (not a sexual inuendo)
My other reason besides the online support in boards is the fact that my car is very recognizable around this area at night especially since not many people have, well no, hardly anyone has a Saturn modded, especially to teh extent of mine. |

| I bought mine because it's the only domestic sport compact that I liked. Plus I kind of always wanted one ever since they came out. I modded it because I can't stand driving a stock car and one that looks like everyone elses. Saturn owners rule! |
