I'll tell you why - that car is an automatic. All the performance modifications in the world can't overcome Ford's boat-anchor of an automatic transmission.

All Cougar owners with autos go for cosmetic over performance. It's a hopeless battle.

Still, the gutted precats, CAI, 2.5-in cat-back, and SVT-spec induction are nothing to sneeze at.

i knew if anyone could apprecieate that car, it would be you Cam. The car is bad ass. And not everything MUST be about performance. Just b/c a car looks bad ass doesn't mean it has to run a 10 sec 1/4mile. And looks doesn't make anything rice. Damn I wish you pple would get off that kick. Rice is an attitude, and sounds like alot of you have that attitude.

Definitely, man..I always appreciate a good lookin show car, and that one is dope. And you're right...a lot of people on here DO have the "ricer" attitude, even though their car may/may not denote it.
