| Ok......so you're gonna take the used vehicle that you're working to pay off/own already, buy ANOTHER car, brand new, with higher insurance rates, that costs 16.5-20.5K, that it's gas milage will be able to warrant the difference?
Hell, I'd be lucky to get 4K for my Saturn. You really think that either of those vehicles will be able to save me 12K in any reasonable amount of time?
Please.....

| For the WRX I think it costs 2.00 a gallon...premium. The SL2 is about 1.80 My state has like a 37 cent gas tax or something like that so it makes the gas more expensive

Please..... | That is comparing apples to oranges. You would have to compare a new car to a new hybrid, so insurance would be comparable. They cost between $3-4000 more.

| 87 Unleaded is $1.71 in Tampa. I refueled earlier today.
Premium 93 is $1.91.
You know, rather than use some hybrid, I think i'll buy a diesel car someday. I have heard those get 45-50 MPG on $1.80 diesel fuel...
I keep hearing about how diesels are unclean, but they DO pass sniffer, and use so little fuel, so they can't be THAT bad.
In 2006, low sulphur fuel will be the standard in the USA, and just maybe we will get some cool European-spec cars.

| Diesels are definately another, reliable, reality-based, option, that's not like a hybrid. Lotta torque, good gas milage. Less **** to bust up on the diesel too.

| You all buy your loud crappy diesels and I'll stick with my SC that costs me $10 to fill from 1/4 tank and gets 30+mpg even with my crazy driving.
