Default the worst thing ive ever witnessed....

I was going to my gf's house last night, and instead of taking the rock road that leads to her driveway, we decided to go through the neighborhood that also leads to her driveway. As we approach the neighborhood we witnessed a wreck. Theres a tight turn just on the other side of the neighborhood entrance. There was a car coming around that corner in our lane headed right for us, and nailed the little red car in front of me head on. The "faulty" car hit so hard it stood up on its front bumper just before it spun 360degrees and slid off the road. The little red car in front of me spun 180degrees and was facing us. I stopped and parked the car(rear end on the road, front end in the grass) I grabbed my flashlight and joined a couple other guys trying to help the family in the red car. We saw that there was a truck coming up behind my car and wasn't slowing down. 4 guys on the road with flashlights trying to slow down traffic and two cars on the side of the road all messed up and for some reason a full size pick up pulling a full size flat bed trailer haul ass through the center of this scene @40 mph running over all the debris in the road. Right after he went through, another did the same thing. Then had the nerve to come back and go through the neighborhood where i was about to turn.
In the red car, there was a 12yr old boy laying down in the back seat, an 18yr old in the front passenger seat, and their mom was driving.
When I got to the red car, the boy that was in the back seat was laying on the dash, pinning his brother between him and the dash. Their mother was pinned against the steering wheel. The driver of the other car said he couldn't feel his legs, and was bleeding from his head and mouth. The oncoming car hit the red one so hard it ripped pieces off of both cars laying them all over the road and ditch. The cars were so torn up in the front you couldn't tell what kind of cars they were. After seeing them from the back, I had to tell this story. BOTH CARS WERE SATURNS.

Scared the hell out of me b/c if it hadn't been the red car in front of me, it would have been me.

The family in front of me was just on their way home from the kids baseball games. All this family wanted to do was go home and enjoy the rest of the night. Instead, they spent the night in the hospital b/c some stupid **** was driving too fast and couldn't keep his car on the road. I didn't find out if they faulty driver was drinking or was intoxicated, but nevertheless, it was his fault and if he survives, hes goin down for it.

The point of this is simple...SLOW DOWN... theres no reason for anyone to be driving that fast, especially down a dim, curvy road. Keep it legal. Be safe, and most of all SLOW DOWN.

Man I ****ing hate when people do that, it's one thing to go 75 on the freeway in the middle of the afternoon when noone else is on the road but there is NO REASON to fly threw nieghbor hoods at 60mph especially tight turns

Gald you and your girl are O.K. dan and hope the other family is doing well

I'm glad everyone was alive. It's a hard lesson to learn and the sad thing is that some people will still drive like that even if they manage to kill someone.

ya know....on the way to work and on the way home i took it slow, i actually drove just below the speed limit the entire way there and home and just took notice of what was goin on around me....pple pullin out in front of others and cuttin each other off and stupid **** like that. There are so many careless drivers its not even funny. I was wondering, wheres the cops when ya need 'em. I still don't know if that family is ok, or if that guy was dwi or dui.

I think everyone is like that until it happens to them. I used to drive fast everywhere through town and on the highway until I got my first speeding ticket. Sometimes I feel kinda paranoid because there are cops on every corner of my town now, and I really don't need another ticket. Its sad to see that an accident had to break this particular person's habbit.

Man that is terrible, try doing that everyday of your life, seeing wrecks like that. You can't have a weak gut or heat for stuff like that. So maybe I was there DILLIGAF, hehe, just maybe. ****, I got so many stories about bad wrecks. Just last week, there was a wreck, head on, the 2 drunk guys died, and the guy in the probe lost his leg and is still in ICU, he may not live either. The kid in ICU is still in his young 20s
