Hey man, life is less expensive in HOU than in Cali. I was there for about a year and moved again.

+1

I remember reading a while back that our entire area (SE TX in general) was in the top 10 cheapest places to live in the US.

Hey bobo

Good Luck to ya. You will look back later on in life, laugh and be amazed that you were able to tough it out. I know it kinda bites the big one, but-cha gotta do what-cha gotta do. Believe it or not, THIS will build Character !

I had it rough too when I was single and back in my early 20's. Now that I'm a bit older and wiser, I look back and say "Hey I was able to survive and make the best outta a bad time" PLUS, now it don't take a whole lot to make me happy.

You will see that life will pick up and get better.

Hang in there !!!

just an update. the last few nights ive been crashing at a friends. it's been cool. i go to work and come by here and chill. i havent driven my car in days and theres TONS of bird poop all over it. i mean, i've got good memories in the car now but its not like i care because im getting my elantra [korea version = 'avante'].

one thing i want to do when i get my elantra is get thr 'avante' badges from ebay or whatever site sells them. i want my car all KDM. the apartment thing isnt hard at all. my gf wants me to get my elantra *cough* avante so she's helping me get one. thats seriously nice of her...

its true what everyone says. tx is WAAAAAY cheaper than cali. i think the last time i was there, frozen burritos were like .23 cents or something. NICE. lunch used to cost me all of a dollar when i worked at H-E-B pantry foods [im sure you TX people know what store im talking about]. cali is expensive as all hell and its like hella overpopulated. this is where i live though..california. i've lived here practically all my life.

thanks again for all the words of encouragement and im glad to know that im not the only one who's been in this situation. one thing i know is that i have NO bad memories of this experience. only good...
