and the fact that it was quite a bit longer then any of the other vehicles gave it quite an advantage.

Well the length and weight gave it problems in some areas, but also gave it some really GOOD advantages in other areas. Half the damage to the vehicle was from the path to get to the next "course". The poor van had some issues making it between some trees.... good thing they were TWIGS to it and it sort of just pushed them around.
