You think i can get my car back with no hood?

So I'm STILL Waiting on that SMS cf hood to arrive. they supposedly shipped it to my dealer on the 31st and its still not here. We've tried calling up Kurt but he hasn't been answering. Really makin' me doubt SMS. Anyways, we're tryin to fig out how to get the car out of the shop without the hood on it...thats all we're waiting on. anyone think they'll do this? We'd pay them the full amount and they wouldn't have to worry about the car bein there anymore. only thing is there is a lien holder so i dont know...

I dunno, what are the laws in NC. In MD im almost positive it is illegal to drive the car w/o a hood, but Ive heard in some states u can go hoodless.

its not illegal here. But I tried and they told me it was a "Liability" which is complete bull****...what is the liability?

oh, I think i get it...u mean the shop? How can there be any liability on them if you've paid for the car its completely out of their hands

I know, keep the rental car, and make SMS pay for the extra days until the hood comes

Damn ray, theres this thing called the EDIT BUTTON.

I've seen plenty of cars go w/out hoods. Go get ur damn car, and when ur hood comes in they still have to give it to ya. You may have to put it on, but its still yours, unless they refund you the money, and you order one and have it sent to ur house.

Since Wes is the sales guy and is almost always there, he'd probably be the best one to talk to, since Kurt's job probably has him away from his desk alot.
