When I bought my car it already had a larger exhaust tube installed with a can muffler. I'm not sure what the diameter of the tube is. I will check it this weekend and see. I do know that it looks as if someone took different pieces of piping and welded it all together. Does it make a difference whether the piping is welded together or held using brakets? BTW I am planing on installing the OBX headers and would like to also install a high flow cat.

After that I would like to replace the straight through muffler for one that is a little quieter. I love the sound when I start up and the car is idling, but the car has a drone at highway speeds. Has anybody heard of a company called SuperTrapp?
SuperTrapp: Performance Exhaust
Supposedly you can tune the sound of the exhaust as well as the power band based on how many discs you have installed. Any info would be helpfull. Thanks.
