About time you got that wideband! I've got two wideband setups now...haha.

After you get it all installed and working, it's pretty easy to do. Just make some pulls in 3rd gear on an on-ramp. Go from 1k up to redline. Make a note of the AFR throughout the range.

Go to your AFC and set the correction points evenly, every couple hundred of RPM. You can do that however you like, some points are harder to keep uniform, then you want more adjustment points there.

Go into HI throttle settings and subtract a few % of fuel. DO NOT DO THIS WITHOUT THE WIDEBAND SENSOR. Pull again. Your AFR number should be slightly higher.

Eventually, you want the AFR to be in the 13.1-13.4 range...that seems to be the sweet spot. You're probably going to feel a 20WHP kick in the ass when you get it tuned right, assuming you haven't washed out your rings yet.

Mine are -5%ish at the lower RPMs up to -12-15% at the higher RPMS. Your tune will change depending on the weather and humidity.

Haha, no, the second one is in a box behind me, waiting to go into the RX7 when I have the time.

so i was feeling not so confident about this whole tuning thing... i contacted a local tuner shop and asked them how much it $$$ it is for dyno tuning. they said 150 first hour and then 100 each additional hour. since i have no idea what i am doing (reading is not understanding), should i pay the money?? plus i will have a documet showing my HP baseline and gain...

hell you want to tune it for me?? i will buy you a case of beer or something...

Personally, I wouldn't pay to get it tuned...I've seen shops mess it up (blue00sl2)...they added fuel all over the place...haha.

Anyways, I'd pay to see what I was putting down, if you want to do that, go ahead. Just be aware you'll have to adjust your tune based on changes in temperature and humidity.

I was afraid of tuning it before I got it installed...but once it's in, you'll see exactly what to do.

I'd tune it for you, but I'm back up in the great white north again...haha.
