Default broken motor mount

while i was on my way to work this morning i quickly merged onto the highway around a truck in fourth gear, and after i switched to fith my car started slowing down... i pulled over and took a look and sure enough the motor is having a seizure, shaking back and fourth...

im pretty sure its only the top dog bone mount, but is it crucial to replace the others at this time? and does anyone know where i could get some stiffer mounts?

what top dog bone?

There are 4 engine mounts:
-TAM ("torque axis mount" - top front of engine)
-dogbone on bottom front of engine
-dogbone on top of tranny
-tranny mount on bottom/end of tranny

though '91's have some oddball mounts...

*fixed - mixed up my front & rears of engine*

I'm think a better description might be that they are on the right (passenger's side) of the engine. They aren't really at the back.

oops, I meant front of the engine. Rear of the engine is the flywheel end. You're correct on referencing it relative to the car, but relative to the engine is different...

Yeah, you had me confused for a second there. Might be easiest to go relative to the car, since he might be confused. Should be easier for him to explain.

I forgot to add that the car is a '95 DOHC... I took the TAM out, it is cracked but not broken, so its one of the lower mounts.. from the way its shaking im thinking its the right-side lower mount.. im just going to replace all of the mounts at once, but its supposed to rain all week here so im pretty screwed..

Ya when this happened to me I went with all new mounts:

2 dogbone prothane "baldy" mounts
Stock Tam
Stock Tranny

solid as rock.
