Default free air?

ok, so heres my idea. remove the intake resonator, then trim down the tube that is in the airbox, the only problem i can think of is how can i plug up the hole left from removing the resonator?

any ideas?

oh, and is it really as easy as i think? remove resonator, plug hole, trim tube, done?

can i expect any gains out of it, or is it just going to be louder?

it'll be louder a tad, might sneak a few horses in as well

don't plug the hole, it will help draw in more air

if you trim the tube down in there as you're saying it'll help a bit too since the air would enter right below the filter

it should tide you over until you get a real intake

i was thinking that since the hole is facing the engine it would be drawing in hot air

Uhm...it's pulling in hot air anyways, it's in the engine bay.

Just pull it off. It's ugly, unnecessary, and in the way. It will make it a lil louder, that's about it.

lol that would look like total ass, might as well just do the things I said and at least keep it looking stock.

It was the first thing I did to both the SC2's I've had. I can tell a big difference.
