I think you're probably a ways off from turboing a Saturn...you probably have much bigger issues to worry about.

I've seen this thread come up a couple times on different forums...as low as 9-14 if it's not running right and you're whaling on it...but on the highway, or if you keep it out of boost, you can still get 25-30mpg.

Depends entirely on the car, build, and driver, though.

yea i also heard that if you don't drive it hard it you can still see low 20's. but that is just one more reason why i would rather run nitrous.

That makes so sense at all. I bet I can take my car and drive it all week long without beating on it at all and I'll still beat your gas milage with or without nitrous.

I've never tried it, but I bet I could get over 30mpg.

thats not what i meant or atleast not how it is suppose to sound. to make it clearer. i read on another saturn forum that you average around the low 20's in terms of pure city mpg with a turbo saturn not driven hard. then i made a comment that one of the reasons that i would rather run nitrous is that my mpg is already in the low 20's so that i would rather run nitrous and use the extra power when i need it not to get to point a and point b.

from my understanding, the only difference out of boost is the restriction of the turbo

i doubt it will be a big change

the question is..will you be able to stay out of boost? lol

I look at it as if you use real means of fuel management, won't lose anything at all.
