Default High Comp. + Nitrous 94 SL2

I looking towards this set-up since turbo is going to be $$$ for what I'd do with it.

Any suggestions on pistons and rods, bore (Forged of course, but what companies do you have good experience with?)?

Camshafts?

Injection (computer, AFC, injectors, fuel rail, pump, regulator, nitrous injection)?

Head building (valves, seals, over-bore, porting)?

Throttle bodies and intake manifold (porting or buy new performance)?

Cooling (radiators, thermostat, spark plugs, oil coolers)?

Spark (coils, ignition control, timing, wires)?

As far as intake and exhaust, I will be using a ebay intake, headers from Nopi, Maganflow cat, and custom 2.25" exhaust to probably some type of Flowmaster muffler. Back pressure is also an issue.. so muffler choice would help.

I think that pretty much covers the motor, if I've missed anything let me know and give some advice.

Thanks

mufflers are mufflers, they dont make as big a diffeence in sound as piping dia. i would suggest a baffled flowmaster on 2.5 inch piping, best sound and performance, but my biggest piece of advice is to get the AEM intake. i bought a ebay intake and it was not worth the money.im currently in the process of buying this as my third intake setup.

You are going to end up spending more money in a nitrous setup eventually than you would with a turbo build. If you plan on building your engine with the options stated above, you should really consider turbo instead. Cheaper in the long run.

Well, either way you can keep the saturn sleeper. Turbo just puts the powa to the ground when you put your foot down. Nitrous might have too many draw backs to want a full build on it.

I think I'ma get the fuel system built up and possibly run bigger lines first. Then worry abour a 4 port manifold for nitrous (75) and just run that as a sleeper for a little while. Reading into the turbo set-ups on TurboSaturns, I have been gaining interest.

running bigger lines is pointless.it has been proven that using bigger lines, unless your using a turbo set up with over 4 digits of power, is useless. its a waste of money.your best bet, you be a out of tank fuel pump, a supra tt or 300zxtt fuel filter as your new fuel set up, with large injector tooof course.

There is no need to upgrade the fuel system (other than injectors obviously) untl you hit 300+hp.

Don't need anything stronger than the stocker fuel pump? Filter? FPR?
