You can get one for $199.00 new from SMS or peruse the boards for a used one. Let me know if you want one, I can get one from SMS.

ok, we're gonna do an experiment: afsat, you'll be the guinney (sp?) pig...you buy one, hook it up, drive it for a couple o' thousand miles, and then tell us if it's worth it, eh?

What say you?

The person who buys it would have to get their car dyno tested...on a chassis dynamometer. Both before installation, and after.

If I paid $200 for something, I would mentally convince myself that I am feeling a power increase.

agreed. Isn't there a term for that psychological feeling you give yourself when you install something expensive and you make yourself think that your feeling a difference in power? j/w.

I just put on on my car and notice a difference. I will be taking the car to the dyno soon to see what if any increase in HP has been made since I started modifying the SC. I looked at ignitionsolutions webpage and reviewed their dynos and spec sheets. I see a consisitent but marginal gain with the plasma booster in those dynos. I am different in the way i look at bolt ons...every little bit helps. I live in CA where everything is examined under a microscope and needs to be SMOG legal. The plasma booster is SMOG legal and does make for a better idle and increased throttle response.
I will post my dyno stuff soon.

Bolt-ons suck ass.

Mentality : "Lets spend $3000 and gain maybe 20hp!"

When you could put together a turbo system for similar cash and gain 50-100+ horsepower.
