Default manual trans questions


i have a problem when i shift into 3rd gear my car wont hold the rpms i need it drops sown to 2500. The question i have is is there a differance betwwen a sohc trans and a dohc trans? and how do you know from the out side what one it is?

Yes there is a difference between a SOHC and DOHC tranny. You can look at the numbers stamped on the side of the bell housing to find out which is which
