Why is it that people who have no clue what they are talking about, insist on trying to explain things. On a side note, I window welded my block to the frame rail today and boy does it help! It doesn't torque at all.

is it true that if u make the top enigne mount stiffer.. it puts undue strees on the eninge and can crack the timing chain cover?
yes it is.
and i knew this
and shame on me for not remembering...
if you use a pin to make your upper mount solid you should do it with the understanding that cold shoulder joint is smarter than me. and you should make it removable and only use it while racing or you should practice changing timing chain covers.
And FYI, to EVERYONE on this board. DON'T GIVE ADVICE IF DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!!!

well...for some odd reason, I feel that that comment was directed at me , so I give you my word as a Saturnspotter that I'll keep the undue posting down to a minimum.
Oh, and I own everybody (you just don't know it yet)...

only the top mount? if this is true, then why do so many put in the stiffer mounts?
