A 20B Turbo would be better then the renesis

3 Rotor > 2 Rotor .

Ever think of putting a Renesis into an older RX-7? That would make more sense, as it is an RWD car and already built for a rotary engine.

At least that is what I have dreamed of doing...
yeah, it does make more sense, but neither of us (my friend nor I) have an extra 2nd gen. Hell, he's not even sure if he can get the drivetrain for the Renesis in the first place. but yeah that sure would be sweet

wow, that would be so nifty, except aren't those the engines that used to be in LeMans? Regardless, it's gonna be a lot harder to get than any 13B or Renesis...

Mazda 20B engines came from a Japan-only car called the Mazda Cosmo.
I don't know what the rariety is, but it isn't like finding Le Mans engine.

You can find 20B's on ebay a lot of the time. My dad worked on a 20B powered RX7 imported from Europe or something before when he worked at the dealer. Same as the 2 rotor but with an extra rotor.

It was used in JDM and EDM RX7's IIRC.

sweeeet. so then can it have a "tri" turbo? does that then go to three exhaust outlets? that'd look pretty nifty...

You mean "I'm not sure on if it's possible to turbo the rotaries?".

If that's the case, then yes, it is ENTIERLY possible. Hell, RX7's came with a sequencial set up from the factory.

Nah, I think he was meanin' that he thinks it's possible to have a turbos hooked up to each of the three rotors, and thus have three exhausts comin' out the rear...if that would be the case then that would look saawweet.
